Booking the Full Face Hair Removal as a single service is more time-efficient and typically more cost-effective than booking each area separately. It also ensures a beautifully unified result, with every area of the face addressed in one streamlined session rather than spread across multiple appointments.
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to lift away dead skin cells and the fine vellus hair that softens the surface of the face, with results lasting around three to four weeks. Full Face Hair Removal uses professional wax to remove hair from the root, with results lasting two to four weeks and hair growing back finer and more sparsely over time. Waxing also tends to deliver a more thorough hair removal across the brows, lip, and chin areas, where dermaplaning is primarily focused on overall surface exfoliation. Many guests rotate between the two depending on their priorities, or build both into their regular skincare ritual for different reasons.
Most guests enjoy smooth results for two to four weeks, depending on individual hair growth patterns. With consistent treatments every three to four weeks, hair tends to grow back finer and more sparsely over time.
For best results, the hair should be at least a quarter inch in length, roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you have been shaving any of these areas, plan to grow the hair out for at least two weeks before your first appointment.
Some mild redness or sensitivity is normal immediately after the treatment and typically resolves within an hour or two. Your esthetician will apply a soothing post-treatment product to calm the skin and minimize any temporary reaction. Avoid wearing heavy makeup or applying strong active ingredients to the face for the rest of the day.
